 Pneumedicare

Pneumedicare is a start-up company, which was founded at the Yozmot HaEmek Technological Incubator in August 2007. Pneumedicare develops novel devices for continuous and non-invasive monitoring of lung ventilation in Intensive Care Units. The device gives warning to changes in lung ventilation in the early stages of life-threatening events, before an extreme decrease in blood oxygenation is reached - thus preventing the development of irreversible damage. The Pneumedicare device characterises the nature and location of the problem, quantifies the severity of ventilation abnormalities, improves diagnosis and enables monitoring of the treatment provided to patients.
